Help with my dance?

Ok, So im in a jazz dance and its staying alive by the beegees. well the problem is I always forget to smile bc im so focused on the dance itself. Im so into the dance and focused and ALWAYS forget! my recital is tomorrow and I want to do my best. Any ideas? Thanks and have a fun, safe summer.

What type of Dance should I take?

I plan on taking dance lessons & I know the studio has hip-hop, jazz, modern, ballet, etc. But, I don’t know what to take? Can someone name most of them & explain them a little? I wouldn’t be interested in ballet or tap for sure. Thanks!

alright. Ive been taking dance since a young age but stopped about 3 yrs ago. Im 14 now,and I really want to get back into it,,but more seriously now. I know I’ll have to start almost completely over,and Im willing to work extra hard. I was just looking for some suggestions on how I should start..
I want to try Lyrical(don’t know much about it..but interested.could someone maybe explain it more?), and maybe a Ballet class,,I will be taking Jazz for sure.
I’ve always wanted to be in my dance studio’s Company class,but I dont think Im good enough yet/ready. I don’t know. Can someone just help straighten things out a bit..?

How can you stop people from moonlighting in a small dance studio company?

I’m starting up a small dance instruction company on a low budget. As my main cost is advertising, I’ve got some friends who want to get involved. They don’t want to be partners and pay overhead, but rather just be paid as they teach lessons. I think they may easily use my business to get more clients for themselves. How can I stop or curb this? TIA.

Cast gift for dance recital- Peter Pan?

My dance studio is doing a production of Peter Pan, and each year the main characters give each other small gifts. I need ideas for what to give to about 15-20 girls that relates to Peter Pan and doesn’t cost more than a few dollars per girl. Any ideas?

dance sponsorship?

my friend and i are on the competition team at our dance studio. we are doing a duet in the competition this year and are looking to get sponsors to help us with the entry fees and costume costs. We have some people in mind to ask…but we dont know what we should do exactly to get them to want to help us out.

i live in baltimore maryland and i am looking for a really good dance studio. i am 15 and i am a pretty good dancer but i have only done rec dancing. i need technique. At baltimore dance tech i went to the first day of registrarion, was the first one there, and they were filled from all of their returners who registered in the summer somehow. does anyone know any really good dance studios?
