I need a good idea of what to get because the theme is disco, and i need some good (clean) awesome songs to play at the dance. it doesn’t need to all be disco/70s, it can be newer hip songs everyone knows. we (student council) need to give the lady in charge a playlist within two weeks so she can give it to the dj.

When i go to the strip club, I look around and I see the strippers(dancers), the host, the bartenders, the valet, the doorman, the guy in the bathroom selling cigarettes, the Dj, the shift managers and so forth. From a believers stand point, are they living in Sin ? Are they lost souls and destined to end up in the Lake of Fire with Satan ?

DJ with a girlfriend? Help?

I am a dj and dj at a lot of clubs and parties, which really gets my girlfriend jealous. She also thinks that I am doing something because of my friends I go with. They all are ladies men and stuff. Even though I get a lot of opportunities to I try not to like dance or flirt with other girls. She comes to some parties with me but like clubs she cant cuz she isn’t 21.

I pass up a lot of opportunities for her, but I dont know if I should keep on doing it. I try to get her into the club but they say since Im under 21 thats already enough, What do you think I should do?

I’m in the process of hiring a DJ for a wedding reception, and I’ve received a list of references from one DJ. When I call these people, who have experienced the DJ already, what are some important questions to ask them, to see if the particular DJ would be a good fit for me?

Good wedding dance song list?

I am looking for a good song list to give our DJ to play. We are really into new country, and rock. We need some song ideas!
I am thinking about just using our laptop hooked up to our venues sound system instead of a DJ- DJs are about $400 for a night where we are, and we are on a super tight budget! Any tips for using an Ipod/laptop instead of a DJ? We would have someone keeping an eye on it for us, and playing requested songs.

What to wear to a 50s dance?

Please don’t say a “poodle” skirt. I don’t own one and I’m not getting one, either. I am 58 and my husband and I belong to a dance group at our cc. This is the first time they have really “themed” a dance. We are going to have a DJ, etc., and are supposed to wear “anything 50s.” I was born in 1950 and honestly don’t remember anything special about the clothing…I remember the 60s and 70s well, but not the 50s. Keeping my age in mind (LOL), any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!
